First-Shopping-Trip-In-A-Very-Long-Time Haul
Hello again, dear readers!
First things first, we apologise profusely for the unexpected hiatus on this blog. Turns out, contrary to popular belief, Transition Year is a very busy year (Danielle here!), and being a second year is hard (Hey it's Krizanne!). Anyway, we are back, and we've got a haul for you guys!
Danielle
I'm going back to the Philippines in a few weeks so my shopping excursions are mainly focused on the things that I'm going to be bringing home with me! This skull dress is perfect! Since I'm a very small person (5ft!) it's really hard for me to find dresses that fall just above the knees (unless I look at the kids's section) but H&M currently has beautiful dresses that are just the right fit!
I also bought new sunglasses (since I lost mine in a recent trip to Italy), summer tights, and... a new bra. TMI?
Krizanne
I got this pair of jeans at the kids' section of H&M! It's got a beautiful ombré effect that I adore, and as I share the same problem Danielle mentioned above, the kid's section comes in really handy at times. I also bought this maxi dress at Penney's that is going to be a staple in my wardrobe this summer!
Danielle picked this black tank top for me when we were in H&M and I adore it! We were trying to look for a black bandeau bralet but it turns out that a white tank top works just fine!
And that's it! We had an amazing day shopping together again after aaaaages, and I hope you guys enjoyed reading this post as much as we enjoyed writing it! You guys can expect more outfit posts and hauls in the summer, and we'll talk to you guys later! Have a good one!

Krizanne's first outfit post
Hi guys, this was my outfit when we celebrated Christmas with my family. When I went to Danielle's house, I was wearing a different dress but it didn't suit me.
So, what I did was, I went to Danielle's room and picked a red dress that really suited me.
Me and Danielle came up with the idea of swapping clothes because we didn't have time for Christmas shopping because we were too busy with school works.
And I think the dress really suits me. :)
I hope you guys like our first outfit post. Happy New Year and see you all next year. xo
Love, Krizanne

What are you doing New Year's Eve?
Hello, dear readers!
I hope everyone's having a very happy new year's eve! There's still a little more than an hour before the year officially changes, and while waiting we figured we could put up our first outfit post!
This is the outfit I am wearing tonight. I've had this dress since about 5 years ago, it was bought for my brother's christening, and it still fits me! I mean it's a bit smaller now obviously but I think it's now actually the perfect fit for me, since when I first wore it I just about drowned in the fabric!
When I was getting ready for tonight, my parents told me that I should wear something red, for luck! I personally don't believe in those things but it somehow has been a tradition for me and my family (except last year, when I didn't wear an ounce of red in my body. Oops.).
Also I just noticed today that I don't have any red or white shoes! I've had to settle for these black wedges with gold detailing instead. Me and Krizanne has some plans to go shopping some time soon and I'm going to try and looking for some cheap white heels.
Well I hope everyone's having a fantastic time, whether you're staying at home (like us) or going out with your friends and/or family. Let's make 2013 the best year yet.
Love,
Danielle.Tuesday, 25 December 2012

Meet Danielle.
Hello everybody!
My name is Danielle Olavario, sixteen years old, and I love fashion. I always have ever since I was a small child. I would decide what I would wear every single day, even when I was just staying at home. I regularly bought the Total Girl Fashion Magazine in my tween years and I would do my best to keep up with fashion trends. Because that's what I thought fashion was- staying on trend even when I was uncomfortable with whatever I was wearing. I guess that's the reason why I lost interest in it in the first place. I didn't understand that fashion was about expressing yourself.
I learned to love it again, however, when I moved to Ireland from the Philippines and was forced to re-start my whole wardrobe from scratch. My style really just depends on what my mood is on the day and what was available in my closet.
Krizanne and I are cousins and when she asked if I would establish a fashion blog with her, I jumped at the opportunity. My own personal blog, danielleolavario, is a bit quiet at the moment (my theory is that Transition Year ruined my creativity), so I was more than happy that my cousin asked me to do this. Like Krizanne I have been following fashion bloggers such as Delightfully Tacky and Scathingly Brilliant, and I have to say that they are my biggest inspirations fashion-wise, along with Ramona Flowers.
I look forward to sharing my fashion stories with you all, and I will see you all soon!
Love,
Danielle
